DIY Saturday

Hello citizens of Blogtopia!

I've been very busy and distracted with other things recently so have not had much opportunity to post any projects or tutorials-sad face!
I have however managed to steal away an hour, long enough to share with you my top ten DIY picks of this month!
I'm very excited about some of these projects and long for the day when I have the time to try some out :-)

First up is this super easy tutorial for turning a plain rug into something much more exciting! Such an easy way to inject some colour into a room.
These coasters are very unique. I love the style that has been achieved with the different sized washers.

How clever is this? So pretty too! Nothing but some empty bottles and a few metal doodads.

I'll admit, this probably wouldn't be the simplest of projects as there would be some plumbing involved, but it would be worth it in the end to end up with such a quirky sink unit!

I'm in love with these cute little cornice shelves-the perfect way to display your favourite knick-knacks.

Ahh! I am SMITTEN with this milk churn table! I reckon it wouldn't be too tricky to make either and it would certainly add a unique quality to any outdoor space.

This is so cute for making plain candles slightly more interesting. The possibilities are endless!
Beautiful upcycling!
How cool is this?! Old tent+old trampoline=amazing garden hammock! A winning combination!

This is a lovely idea for using old cutlery in a fun way. Upcycling is always the way to go :-)

I love Unconsumption on Tumblr. They have some fantastic upcyling and recycling examples that will appeal to everyone interested in repurposing everyday items. These suitcase and toolbox planters are one example.

Everytime I write my "DIY Saturday" post, I always end up with an even bigger longing for my own house and garden, so I can fill it with wonderful DIY pieces!

One day.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this month's "DIY Saturday".
